Minimum System Requirements to Run Windows 11

The table below lists the essential hardware specifications required to install and run Windows 11 with core functionality. These requirements are designed to provide a great computing experience across a wide variety of devices, both now and in the future.

Processor : 1 GHz or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC). 

Memory (RAM) : 4 GB. 

Storage : 64 GB or larger available storage.

System Firmware : UEFI, Secure Boot capable. 

TPM : Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0. 

Graphics Card : Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with a WDDM 2.0 driver. 

Display : High definition (720p) display greater than 9” diagonally, 8 bits per color channel.

Internet Connection : Windows 11 Home edition requires an internet connection and a Microsoft Account during initial device setup.
